Course content
1. The basic principles of scientific survey of monuments. 2. The basic division of instrumental methods. 3. Sampling of works of art and monuments. 4. Principles of optical microscopy. 5. Principles of Electron Microscopy. 6. Analyses based on X-rays. 7. Principles of atomic spectroscopy methods. 8. Principles of methods of molecular spectroscopy (UV-VIS, IR, Raman). 9. The use of analytical methods for the survey of metals. 10. The use of analytical methods for the survey of wood. 11. The use of analytical methods for the survey of stone and ceramics. 12. The use of analytical methods for the survey of textiles, leather and photographic material. 13. Presentation of seminar papers.
